Siggi graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iceland. He did research in control theory during his undergraduate years along with assembling automatic vehicles intended to kick ass in robot design contests held by the Engineering department (with alright results).

Siggi’s research interests lie along the intersection of several fields, i.e. robotics, control, human perception and cognition. You are most likely to find him in lab, building/debugging electronic circuits or programming microcontrollers. He enjoys the good company of fellow roboticists, robots and regular people.
