Sigurður Örn

Ph.D student in MAS

Born and raised around the capitol of Iceland, Reykjavik. Graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree from the EECS department of the University of Iceland with a focus on embedded electronic systems and control theory. Siggi holds an MS from MIT Media Lab where he focused on the design and evaluation of a robotic telepresence avatar as well as intuitive methods of control for such a robot.
Siggi is currently pursuing a PhD degree with the Personal Robots Group.
